Sailmaker de Wit started in 1971 as an one-man business. At the beginning sails for (competition)sailboats, motorboathoods and cabriolethoods were made.
After 10 years we decided to change our branch. The watersport clients were no longer part of our business. By changing to the industrial work the company started to grow very fast.
Oilbooms and pipe floats
Shortly after the start of the company oilbooms were produced. We already have more than 45 years of experience in producing oilbooms. It was a small step to produce cable floats too. The Flootzer pipe floats can be offered as a high quality product due to our experience.
